Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHONG CHAU December 10, 1930 - July 22, 2007 Mr. Phong Chau passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle of Heart Failure, on Sunday, July 22, at the Health Sciences Centre. Phong was born in GuangDong province of China, one of three sons and two daughters. During the First World War, Phong, his mother and younger sister fled China to south Vietnam to meet his dad for a more peaceful living. Phong and his family left Vietnam to join their second daughter and immigrated to Canada on February 14, 1985. Phong was predeceased by his eldest son Vi Chau. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Muoi, their nine children, siblings, and friends. He will always be remembered in many people's hearts. Viewing/prayers will be held between 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Sunday, July 29. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 30, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phong Chau may be made to the charity of one's choice, or to Phong's family where they will contribute to the foundation of Phong's choice. We'd like to thank all those who contributed to Phong's peaceful passing, his ever-supporting family and friends. We miss him terribly, but we know he is in a better place. A Mi Tuo Fo.
