ROMEO HUPE On August 15, 2007, Romeo passed away after a long and fruitful life. Romeo was predeceased by his parents; his wife Jeanne Marie (nee Fillion) in 1996; his four brothers and three sisters. He will be remembered by his sister Dora (Jâques) Blackburn; his in-laws of the Fillion family; numerous nieces, nephews and his special friend Noella Langill. Romeo enjoyed traveling to Arizona every winter. He found much happiness in golfing and fishing and in his later years he was a spectator of many sports, having bought himself a big screen television so he could watch some of his favourite sports without missing a thing. Family was the most important aspect in Romeo's life; he always made his greatest effort to stay in touch with his family and friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Coates who has been there for Romeo for the last 20 years. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Monday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
