She will be missed by all as she joins Dad and Teddy Bear. Prayers will be held at Kateri Parish, 794 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, MB on August 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with open eulogy. A celebration of Melva's life will be held on August 22 at 10:00 a.m. also in the Kateri Parish. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Followed by luncheon at Kateri. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Grandma Thank you for the gift of love, now you're sharing it up above. You had many things to say. All in a caring way. You always saw good in everyone, No matter what they've done. You were always the one we could all lean on. Even though it must have felt like a ton. You were always the strength of the family. Now we must let you rest calmly. As we say goodbye, as tears roll down our eyes. I know your place in heaven has a good view. Because you're telling God, I need to keep an eye on a few. I know you will always be in our hearts and mind. So Grandma, I must go, but I'll never forget you're one of a kind. We love you Grandma, Corie and Kelly Thomson In the ParK Funeral Home and Cemetery 1291 McGillivray Blvd www.thomsoninthepark.com 925-1120

  • bingo, wearing purses on our heads, strawberry preserves over fresh baked banik smothered in thick farmers sweet cream, early morning berry picking and Christmas Eve are just a few of the things that remember doing with you and makes me smile. We miss you very much. You will always be remembered and loved. - Posted by: Lois Moss (Hanson) (Friend) on: Aug 10, 2013
