In loving memory of my best friend and mother. In my memory you are near, Loved, remembered, longed for, always treasured, with a love sincere, You are where I cannot see you, And your voice I cannot hear. Yet I know you walk beside me, Never absent, always near, Life just does not seem the same since you have gone away. My heart still aches with sadness, My eyes shed many a tear, God only knows how much I miss you, As this ends another year. Love, your daughter Marlene.
