MARILYN PATRICIA MARYNOWSKI Peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2007, with her family at her side, at Deer Lodge Centre. Marilyn was born in Vita, Manitoba on August 5, 1952 to Oscar and Mabel Edbom, a sister for Ivadyl and Leverne. Marilyn attended school in Piney and later in Vita, where she met Russell. The couple married April 30, 1977. Marilyn held various positions during her working career. The most rewarding was her position as Superintendent with the Manitoba Housing Authority. Marilyn was not a 9 to 5 individual. Her work day started first thing in the morning and finished when the last task was done. She could always be counted on to lend a hand or an ear to anyone that needed it. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Mabel Edbom and her brother Duncan Allan. Marilyn is survived by her husband Russell, her daughters, Sylvia (Clayton), Tamara and Amanda, her grand-children, Montana, Darian and Madison, her sister Ivadyl and her brother Leverne and their families. Marilyn suffered a brain aneurism in July of 1992 and has been a resident of Deer Lodge Centre since February 1993. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Deer Lodge Centre for the excellent care extended to Marilyn by the Staff of 5 East. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vita Funeral Homes Vita Chapel in Vita, Manitoba with interment to follow at the Menisino Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marilyn's memory to Deer Lodge Centre. Arrangements entrusted to Vita Funeral Homes Vita Chapel Vita, Manitoba. (204) 425-3114
