DUNCAN KEITH MCRAE After 84 years of aircraft modeling, cottage building, teaching and enjoying Lake Athapap at Cranberry Portage, Duncan Keith McRae passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in Seven Oaks Hospital, Winnipeg. He was predeceased by brothers, John, Neil and Bill. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Joyce, daughter Vanessa Bruzell (Blair), daughter Debby Boyes and son Duncan (Kris). Duncan Keith was a proud grandad of five: Cameron (fiancé Sabrina Meilleur) and Colin McRae (fiancé Jacquelin Last), Andrew Boyes, and Lukas and Lars Bruzell. Duncan served in the Navy on corvettes in the North Atlantic in the Second World War as a wireless radio operator. He taught for many years at Tec-Voc and in the Seven Oaks School Division High Schools, until he retired in 1987. A memorial service celebrating Dad's life will be held on Saturday, September 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Kildonan Community Church, 2373 Main St. N. Winnipeg. The family wishes to thank their friends and the dialysis nurses at Seven Oaks and Flin Flon Hospitals for all their support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
