MARY PRODUN March 30, 1921 - October 3, 2007 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother at the age of 86. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bill and parents, Wasyl and Anastasia (Nettie) Waslawski. Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter Shelley (Paul); grandchildren, Aleece and Ryan, great-granddog Vinnie (who knew her as toast lady ), sisters, Rose, Irene and Alice, brother Norman (Janet), as well as extended family and friends. Mary was a very intelligent, strong willed person who loved all things cultural. The trip she and her husband Bill took to Paris, France was one of the highlights of her life. Those who knew her also knew of her love for chocolate. Mary was a fantastic cook and the dishes she brought to family gatherings will never be replaced. Mary's favourite past time in recent years was going to Club Regent where she had become a familiar face. In accordance with Mary's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mary's life, with family and friends will take place in 2008. If friends so desire donations may be made in Mary's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society. When a loved one becomes a memory, a memory becomes a treasure. Treasure the memories. We will miss you Bobby.
