JEAN JENSEN Sadly, on October 3, 2007, after a short illness, Mrs. Jean Jensen (nee Stranger) of Winnipeg passed away at the Health Sciences Centre with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn her husband of 34 years, Kelvin; daughters, Denise Evans (Winnipeg), Audra Buergel (British Columbia) and Tracy Buergel (Virden). She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Viola Kirchen (Winnipeg), Helen Henrickson (Selkirk), Phyllis Dowson (Selkirk), Mayme Pruden (Garson); her special granddaughter Ashley; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Victoria Stranger; and her sister Sophie Alexander. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of the Ward AG4 of the Health Sciences Centre for the special attention they provided. Service and viewing will be held at Gilbart's Funeral Home in Selkirk on Tuesday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m. Interment of ashes to follow on Wednesday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters Church in East Selkirk, MB. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
