LOIS MARLENE FEDAK It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our most beloved daughter at the Victoria Hospital on Saturday, October 6, 2007. Lois was born in Winnipeg and received her education here. Upon graduating from High School she commenced her studies in the Insurance field and made it her career. She worked for various companies in the city and eventually attained a position as General Manager for the Insurance Council of Manitoba. That was a proud moment for Lois and she worked tirelessly and with competence for eleven years. She travelled across Canada convening meetings or attending them. Holiday times to the Caribbean hot spots were her favourite. Lois leaves behind her beloved daughter, Alexa. Also, her parents Orest and Marion Fedak and twin sisters, Jackie (Shawn) McKinley of Mission, B.C. and Janet (Lance) Mistelbacher of Lorette, Manitoba. She leaves behind nephews, Bryan, Quinn and Dane and nieces, Alyssa and Jacey as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her sanctuary was her large backyard where she was able to relax. She enjoyed working in the garden and loved to show case her variety of flowers. Other hobbies included reading and listening to her favourite musical artists. Special thanks to the nurses in the ICU for their care and compassion. Lois, May the angels surround you in God's presence. A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with an interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in Lois's memory or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
