RUSSELL ROBERT HUNT Peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Victoria, BC, Russell Robert Hunt passed away at the age of 87 years. Russell will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Rosemary, his sons, Russell (Marilyn), Bob (Elaine) and Don (Gaye), nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Russell was predeceased by his first wife Edna Mae after 56 years of marriage. Russell was born September 12, 1920 in Winnipeg. He served overseas in the Canadian Army from 1939 to 1944 where he met and married Edna. Russell was employed by the Canadian Postal Services in Winnipeg from 1945 to 1965. In 1965 he transferred to Victoria and worked for the postal services until his retirement in 1975. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with interment and reception to follow.
