EBERHARD (EB) SCHERER Eb was born on March 28, 1936 in Wernigerode, Germany. He began his final trip, peacefully, October 12, 2007 after a three month struggle with Cancer with his loving friend, Julia by his side. By profession, Eb was a Dr. of Biology with many publications bearing his name. He worked with the Freshwater Institute of Canada for 30 years. Eb was a philosopher and loved all living things believing that is where spirituality is found. He was fond of travelling and recently made a trip to Germany where he spent two wonderful weeks with his two sisters, Traudel Willige, Heinrichstr and Heidi Mushack, Ohlystr. He is also survived by a brother Hans Scherer in Sweden. Eb enjoyed his life to the fullest and shared his love of nature photography, classical music, jazz, scuba diving, canoeing, sailing, swimming, Nordic skiing, hiking, travelling and dancing with his beloved, Julia. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 603 Wellington Crescent.
