MARION (GRACE) MATHESON (nee HEATH) After a short battle with cancer Grace, aged 66, died at the Palliative Care Unit, St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2007 with family at her side. Grace was predeceased by her parents, Roland and Louise Heath. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gord (Colleen); grandchildren, Ainsley, Shannon Joey and Jessica; Eric (Little Sandi); grandchildren, Heath and Kendra; Kim (Phillip) Wilson; grandchildren, Kashus and Braeden; and Karen and grandchildren, Camille and Tyler. Mom and Dad worked side by side for 23 years at Manitoba Housing. They enjoyed their retirement in Teulon, MB until the passing of Sandy in March of 2004. After Sandy's passing Mom moved to Winnipeg to be closer to her children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank Doctors Crawford and Garnet as well as all of the nursing staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care of our Mom and our family. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Grace may be made to the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit, Winnipeg, MB.
