Her love for and knowledge of the outdoors and participation in a variety of outdoor activities equipped her especially well to take her various classes on camping trips each spring which was her special joy. Her knowledge of the outdoors was further enhanced and put to good use by her several generous volunteer years at the Fort Whyte Nature Centre. In addition to the Members of the Ursuline Sisters, Sister Gloria is survived by a circle of very dear and faithful friends chief among them is her cherished and long time friend Carol Ann, who demonstrated, over the years, the true meaning of friend in both good times and those that were more trying.
