GLADYS FRANCES SOLON It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys Frances Solon on November 1, 2007, All Saint's Day at the Assiniboine Centre, Brandon, Manitoba. Gladys was born August 21, 1927 in Brandon, Manitoba. Gladys was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Anne Thompson. Gladys leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband Paul of 62 years, sons Dwight (Gisèle) and Paul Jr. (Cyndi) and her one and only granddaughter, Samantha Anne. She also leaves behind many special friends who will miss her dearly. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327 4th Street, Brandon, Manitoba on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Dominic Yuen. There will be a time of fellowship at the Sokol Hall, 33 11th Street North, Brandon, immediately following the service. A private family interment will be held in the Brandon Cemetery at a later time. In lieu of floral arrangements please consider making a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to the Lung Association of Manitoba.
