SHIRLEY JOYCE ROBINSON Suddenly on October 31, 2007, Shirley passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Shirley was predeceased by her mom and dad. She is survived by her sister Betty Scardina (Fred), niece Kairn Piett (Franz Aeberli), nephew Derrick Piett (Celine), and great-nephew Jarod Piett of Vancouver. Shirley was born October 11, 1936. She was born in Shoal Lake, raised in Neepawa and resided in Winnipeg until her death. She served her entire career with the Manitoba Government. She was very active in volunteering at the Deer Lodge Senior Centre. Shirley especially enjoyed her involvement with her Company of Friends. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Boyd at the Health Sciences Centre for her kindness and compassion, as well as the staff on floor 3GA, especially Jon who made a difference. A service will be held Monday, November 5, 2007, at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or to a charity of your choice.
