Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER RODNEY FRIESEN It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Rodney Friesen at the St. Boniface Hospital on November 19, 2007. Rodney is survived by his father Peter Friesen, stepmother Rita Friesen; brothers, Allan (Rose) and Lyndon (Ellen); sisters, Louella and Joyce (Randy). He was predeceased by his mother Susan Friesen. He is also remembered by three nieces and four nephews. Rodney was born June 9, 1962, in Winkler and attended school in Winnipeg. He attended Columbia Bible College after his high school graduation. Rodney spent the last 10 years working at the Department of National Defence. The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 22, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at Eastview Community Church with interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing at 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 21 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rodney's honour to Youth for Christ, 325 Talbot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2L 0P9. I worked with Rod at CFB Winnipeg and allthough we worked in different areas of the Base we crossed paths many times.
