MARY PERLES It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Perles on November 26, 2007 at Riverview Health Centre. Mary is survived by her son Michael and wife Louise, grandchildren, Adam, Michelle, Emily, Kaeleigh and Karah, son-in-law Richard, sister Katie and brother Gerald, brother-in-law Syd (Mary), numerous nieces and nephews, and Lamb family members. Mom was predeceased by her husband Martin, daughter Brenda, son Gerry, daughter Barbara and son-in-law Ken, brothers, Ed (Bernice), Walter (Isabel), sister-in-law Lydia, brother-in-law Jack as well as members of her second family the Lamb's. Mom lived for her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Mom was the glue that kept us all together. Everyone will remember her sense of humour. Many thanks to caregivers, Dr. P. Harris, Dr. C. Winogrodzka, the nurses at CancerCare and Grace Hospital as well as all the staff at Riverview on 3E, home care workers and family and friends who have done so much for Mom over the last five years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Make A Wish Foundation or charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with interment and reception to follow.
