EVA MACKIE (MARTIN) Peacefully, on December 19, 2007, Eva passed away at age 91 at the Minnedosa Regional Health Centre. She is survived by her brother Charles, son Dale, stepson Bob (Joyce), grandchildren, Cindy (Rennie), Brent (Bev), great-grandchildren, Justin, Trevor (Cynthia and Chloe), Dennis, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Eva was predeceased by her husband Harry, parents Emma and C.R., brother Fred and sisters, Gertrude and Emmeline. Eva was born in Shoal Lake, Manitoba, attending school there and then taking a secretarial course in Winnipeg. Eva and Harry were married in 1940 and lived on the farm in Oak Bluff, Manitoba. In 1949, Eva and Harry left the farm and moved into Winnipeg. Eva spent the last years of her life in Minnedosa, residing in the Town View Manor. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Minnedosa Regional Health Centre and those at the Manor for their care of our mother. Flowers are gratefully declined.
