JOYCE ELIZABETH GRACE HAYTER Peacefully at Pentlow Nursing Home, Eastbourne, England on December 12, 2007, in her 86th year. Much beloved wife of the late Dr. Russell Hayter, loving mother of Charles of Toronto, Sally of Winnipeg, and Robert of England, proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren (including Sarrah, Tracey, and Taylor of Winnipeg) and one great-grandson. Joyce and Russell spent many happy decades in Canada after emigrating to Winnipeg in 1963, where Russell took up a post at the Manitoba Rehabilitation Hospital. After the death of her husband, Joyce returned to her beloved England. She will always be remembered for her tremendous sense of humour and fun, her love of the outdoors which included a special fondness for the lakes of Manitoba, and an abiding faith that saw her through difficult times. Funeral service 1:45 p.m. on January 4, 2008, at Eastbourne Crematorium, Sussex, England.
