CAROL ANNE MEHMEL In loving memory of our beloved daughter who passed away December 30, 1986. Your calls were the robin's first melody, They helped us to circumvent life's roadblocks, But victimized by a cruel destiny, That sent your vessel against unseen rocks To so cruelly cut off kith and kin, From your voice's sweet sounds and loyal love, You could query, why does one who spurns sin lose the chance to civilize like the dove, Man's desperate desire for love and peace, Are our agonized appeals on your behalf, And latent deep depression will not cease, Until we too lose our supporting staff. Our pleas for filial adoration, Are the sounds of the mourning dove's oration. - Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Mom, Dad and family.
