LYDIA SAWATZKY Unexpectedly on January 5, 2008 at Concordia Hospital, Lydia Sawatzky passed away at the age of 41. Beloved wife of Alfred Sawatzky, she is also survived by son Mark (Chelsea) and daughter Cynthia (Joel); parents, Dietrich and Helena Schroeder; siblings, Irene (Dan), Willi (Janice), Linda (Barry), and mother-in-law Elizabeth Sawatzky; sister-in-law Mary (Richard); brother-in-law John, and many nieces and nephews. Lydia was born in Lomaplata, Paraguay on September 18, 1966. She married Alfred Sawatzky on August 31, 1985. Lydia was a selfless, loving mother and wife who was devoted to her family. She was very excited about becoming a grandmother in the near future. Her favourite past times were movie nights and playing games with her family. It was part of Lydia's character to always care for others which was a deciding factor in her becoming a nurse. She excelled in her studies and was thrilled with her position as a grad nurse at Concordia Hospital where she had just started her new career. The family would like to thank Lydia's co-workers at Concordia Hospital for their expertise and professionalism in providing care for her in her time of need. HOW I WISH I COULD BE WITH YOU. HOW I WISH YOU COULD SEE THE KIDS AND GRANDDAUGHTERS LYDIA AND BECKY. WORDS CANT DESCRIBE THE HOLE LEFT WHEN YOU WERE GONE. 15 YEARS GONE BY AND THE HURT STILL PIERCES THE SOUL. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DAY WE SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN - Posted by: ALFRED SAWATZKY (HUSBAND) on: Jan 05, 2023
