ERIC JOSEPH NAULT Peacefully on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, Eric passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 80 years. Eric is lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Rita (nee Carrière), his children René (Jacqueline), Armand (Thérèse TC ), Léonne (Pierre Desjardins) and Gérald (Wendy), 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers, four sisters, four brothers-in-law, ten sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his great-grandson Eric, two brothers, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law. Eric was born on January 31, 1927, in St. Pierre, MB. Eric met his wife Rita in MacIntosh, ON and they married in October 1947. After working for 26 years at INCO in Thompson they relocated back to St. Boniface in 1989. A devout family man, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2008, at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic Church, 289 Dussault Avenue. Interment will take place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff on 6A wing at St. Boniface Hospital for the care and compassion given to Eric.
