RICK LARSEN We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Rick Larsen on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 69. Rick is survived by his loving wife Valerie; adoring daughter Krystal; grandchildren MiaRose, Olivia and Michael; future son-in-law Savvas; sister Linda Schmid (Bernie); nieces Elena and Claudia; brother-in-law Victor Minenko (Bobbi) as well as many dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Ellen Larsen. Rick made his arrival to Canada from Denmark in early 60s getting into the retail business. It was something he had a real knack for and was very successful doing especially in the pet industry. He then made his way to the MLC where he made many lifelong friends. Upon his retirement he enjoyed his fishpond, family, grandchildren and friends and his weekly trips to the Villa with the guys for Blue and some Hold'em. He will be very greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. Please join us to celebrate his life at the Norvilla Hotel, 1763 Henderson Hwy., downstairs banquet room on Sunday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
