ANNE MCMILLAN (nee SHYMANSKI) The family regrets to announce the passing of Anne McMillan, on Friday, February 8, 2008 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 76 years. Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband Warren in 1995, and her brother Bill in 2005. She will be lovingly remembered by Brenda (Jim) Davidson, Shirley (Garry) Stewart, June (Bernie) Quennelle, Carl (Janice), Roy (Merrill), Valerie (Pete), 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brother Roy (Annie) Shymanski, sister-in-law Elsie, special friend Dave, numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was known for her cooking and hospitality both in her home and the many restaurants she operated. She took great pride in that first ripe tomato and having a beautifully landscaped yard. Mom was a Baba through and through and over the years pinched thousands of perogies. Special to her were her faithful companions Bear and Casey. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 18, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment to follow in the family niche at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wish to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of 5B, St. Boniface Hospital, in particular Dr. Malcom Lucy, for their loving care and kindness. Special thanks to Mom's neighbours, especially the Phaneuf's and Klein's. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
