THERESA BLAWAT It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Theresa at the Seven Oaks Hospital on February 18, 2008. Theresa will be loving remembered by her mother Martha, her sister Clara, brother Peter (Jean), nephew Paul, niece Kristel (Norm), and her beloved great-niece Scarlette. She will also be fondly remembered by her Aunt Olga Claas in Germany, her Aunt Flora Zechel in Edmonton, her cousins, Herbert (Debbie) and Bobby (Janice) Zechel and their families. Theresa was predeceased by her father Peter. Theresa, born in Germany on January 18, 1949, came to Canada as an infant with her mother and brother to join her father who was already working in the country. Theresa grew up and attended schools in the North End of the city. She was a long time employee of Eaton's Polo Park until its closing. The family would like to thank the staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their excellent care and support during Theresa's hospital stay. Thank you also to our friends, neighbours and extended family for all your prayers and messages of concern. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Theresa's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
