DIETRICH (DICK) GIESBRECHT

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIETRICH (DICK) GIESBRECHT Dick was born at Lanigan, Saskatchewan, on May 22, 1918, and died on February 18, 2008, with his wife by his side. Dick is survived by his loving wife Betty of 56 years, his sister Ella Beer, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six brothers and five sisters. During his life Dick worked for MacDonald Brothers, Bristol Aerospace and last at the Department of Provincial Highways from which he retired in 1980. Dick was a member of the Shriners Oriental Band, the Happy Homesteaders Choir and several antique tractor clubs. Dick's passions were wood carving and rebuilding antique tractors. I wish to thank the Oakview staff for the care given to my husband. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McClure United Church, 533 Greenwood Place, Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M1, or to a charity of your choice.
