MALCOLM PAUL MACDONALD August 29, 1944 to February 16, 2008 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Paul on Saturday following a valiant struggle with cancer. Paul was predeceased by his son Lance, his brother Roy and his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Charleen, his sister Amanda Frost (Ian), his sister-in-law Emer Macdonald, his brother Ian Macdonald (Teresa), Charleen's brothers Jack Arden (Bev), Lorne Arden (Molly) and Charleen's Mom Christeen Arden, nephews Stuart, Robbie, Ross, Ian and Paul Macdonald and Ryan Arden, Paul's nieces Alexandra, Janelle, Heather, Ashley, Karyn and by many friends and co-workers. Paul was born in England and his family immigrated to Canada in 1962. Paul married Charleen in 1965. And the journey began. Paul worked with Anker Data Systems in Winnipeg and later in Toronto. Paul took a sabbatical in 1975 and spent a few years in the south of England where, along with his father he went into the antique business. Paul and Charleen returned to the US where he travelled extensively in the US and abroad with his company. Paul is a natural born leader who mentored many young folks. He loved working with Dyna-Pro Environmental and he worked until a few weeks ago, he was a fighter! Paul loved lots, lived well and laughed often. Paul will be sorely missed by all who love him. Now his suffering is over. Thanks to Dr. Navaratnam and her nurse Lori Walker and Palliative Care Nurse Dennis Krahn who spent Paul's last night with him at home with Charleen. Rather than sending flowers, please make donations in Paul's memory to WRHA Palliative Care Fund, Health Science Centre Foundation, MS7- 20 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1R9. Paul's memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn on 4000 Portage Ave. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
