Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySARA FENSTER (PALAY) On Tuesday, February 19, 2008, in her 94th year, Sara Fenster slipped away quietly and peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Harry Fenster. Predeceased by her sisters Rifka and Rose and by her brother Sam. Much loved and adored mother of David (Stanley) and Miriam. Dear sister of Abe Palay, sisters-in-law Tammy Palay and Freeda Baron, cousins Sid and Pearl Palay, and lifelong friend Helen Lavitt. Cherished aunt and great-aunt of Carol Kravetsky, Marcy Marini and Gayle Alex and their families. Also saddened by mum's passing are her many nieces and nephews of the Palay and Fenster families as well as Fred, Ray and Audrey. In her last few years mum endured many health issues without complaint. Her generous spirit, warm smile, twinkling eyes, humble manner, and concern for others endeared her to all who knew her. Mum was devoted to her children, family and friends, and leaves a void that will never be filled. Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 21. Shiva times are 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. until the evening of February 26 at 20D-1975 Corydon Avenue. We thank Linda Tapia and Virgie De Jesus for your exceptionally loving care of mum. Thank you also to the many employees of the SOGH Dialysis Unit and the Simkin Centre for your competent and tender care of mum, to the kind drivers of the Wheelchair Services of Manitoba, and to the other residents of the Simkin Centre, along with your families and companions, for your compassion. We wish the best to all of you. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Sharon Home, 146 Magnus Ave., Winnipeg MB R2W 2B4.
