KATHARINA (TINA) ELIAS (nee KLASSEN) 1909 - 2008 On Monday, February 25, 2008 at Salem Home in Winkler, MB Tina Elias, aged 98 years, formerly of the Edenburg district and Winkler went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter Irene and Ed Krahn of the Winkler district (Corissa and Tim Wiebe, and their son Cole; Farrell and Janelle Krahn); two sons, George Elias of Winnipeg; John and Dorothy Elias of Winkler (Jacqueline and Gregory Chase, and their son Zachariah; Tim and Kara Elias and their children, Micah, Torasia, Katie); as well as son-in-law Alfred and Marie Klassen of Winkler. She was predeceased by her husband George W. Elias in October 1981, and daughter Mary Ann Klassen in August 1979. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler on Thursday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 252 6th St. Interment to follow at Winkler Cemetery.
