MARGARET PATRICK Peacefully at the Deloraine Hospital, Deloraine, Manitoba on February 24, 2008 at the age of 88 years, Margaret Patrick passed away. Margaret is lovingly remembered by her daughters June Shoeskie, and grandson Daniel and wife Candy, and grandson David. Louise and Harvey Sorensen of Deloraine, Manitoba; daughter Nancy Patrick of Regina, Saskatchewan, grandson Brian Sorensen and wife Nancy of Shoal Lake, Manitoba, and great- grandchildren Noelle, Jordan and Eric, granddaughter Linda Sorensen of Calgary, Alberta. Margaret was predeceased by her husband William Charles Patrick, May 27, 1989, and son-in-law Jerry Shoeskie, February 11, 2005. Margaret was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and grew up in the North End of Winnipeg. Our mother was a woman who dedicated her life to her family. She will be remembered for the sparkle in her eyes and the many ways she tried to bring happiness and joy to others. Mom loved to walk when she could, visit with friends and family, garden and enjoyed the outdoors. She loved attending the Adult Day Program, on Thursdays in Deloraine. Funeral service will be held at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
