SIGRUN MARGARET WALTERSON Our hearts are sad with the passing of our Mom and Gramma, Sigrun Margaret Walterson, on Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Beausejour Hospital. Mom is now with the love of her life, Eyfi. Sigrun leaves to mourn her children Kevin and Connie, Dianne and Frank, Kelly and Ingrid and grandchildren Shannon and Roxanne (Sean), Samantha and Reed and Tristan and Quinn. Her passing is also mourned by many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Sigrun was born April 1, 1928 in the Glenboro area. She grew up in that area until moving to Winnipeg to become a Registered Nurse. Sigrun met Eyfi and they were married December 15, 1951. Sigrun was an active member of the communities they lived in throughout the years. Mom was loving and supportive, always there for all of us. If anyone was in need, Mom would be there. Mom will be so dearly missed, she was truly the best. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff that cared for Mom at the Beausejour Hospital and all her friends at Lions Manor. According to Sig's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in Sigrun's memory may be made to the Beausejour District Hospital, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0 or the Beausejour Lions Club, Box 944, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
