ROBERT (BOB) POWELL Sadly we announce the passing of Bob on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 77 years. Remaining to forever cherish Bob's memory are his beloved wife of 56 years of marriage, Joyce; son Alan (Carrie); daughters, Joan (Bob) and Diane (Ray); special sister-in-law Del; grandchildren, Jaime, Ryan, Marissa, Erin and Shauna (Brent). Bob's funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Chad's Anglican Church, 3390 Portage Avenue at Rouge Road. The family extends their thanks to the doctors and staff on 5B Medicine and Manitoba CancerCare at the St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 0R3, or to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9.
