Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE YATCO CASTRO After a long and protracted illness, George left us suddenly on February 27, 2008 at the age of 63 years. He is dearly missed by his wife of 34 years Lorna and his two children Adrienne and Ian. Koyang is also missed by Bernadette, Lamberto (Adele) , Evelyn, Enonie (Roderick) de Guzman, Tolio Jr. (Nedy), Maricel (Katsumi) Akashi, Rosario (Mark) Rowe, Cornelio (Herminia) and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be reunited with his mother Jesusita, his father Anatolio and his brother Carlos. George was born in Binan, Laguna, Philippines on February 22, 1945. He graduated from Feati University, Manila in 1968 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He immigrated to Canada in 1974 and got married in September of the same year. At first, he began work at Versatile Company as a draftsman and then entered into a career with London Life Insurance until his retirement. He will be remembered for his enthusiasm for the outdoor activities such as camping, fishing and hunting. Jojie loved playing tennis, poker, and spending time with his children at the Seven Oaks Pool. He was a very spiritual man and had a great presence in St. Theresa's Church, the Lord of Pardon prayer group as well as the Filipino community. Although his last years were challenging, his courage and perseverance through those times are an inspiration to those who knew him. Lamay will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. till midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church , 3597 Main Street. He will be missed GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 338-7111
