She was an ardent fisherman, whether on shore, boat, or ice- fishing her fish stories are legend. Her Ukrainian heritage was very important to her and her home was always open to everyone. Holidays were a very special time for family get togethers in the Sawchyn house. Special thank you to Dr. Nick Van Rensburg and the nursing staff at Beausejour Hospital. Also thank you to the staff at Stony Plains Terrace for their care and companionship given to our mother.
