GARY STEWART MCINNES Born in Winnipeg, MB, on June 11, 1931, Gary succumbed to cancer in North Vancouver, BC, on February 27, 2008. Predeceased by his parents, Neil and Betsy McInnes, Gary leaves his loving wife, Noreen; his sister Shirley Sproul (Gene), Jackson, CA, and their family; his sister-in-law Helen Yakiwchuk, Winnipeg, MB, and extended family and longtime friends locally, in Manitoba, in the US and the UK. To respect Gary's wishes, no service is planned. After cremation his ashes will be scattered in the Manitoba Lake where he and Noreen met over 60 years ago. Locally, a celebration of Gary's life will be held within the next couple of months. Flowers are gratefully declined in favour of a donation to a charity of one's choice or to the Lion's Gate Hospital Foundation-Hospice, 231 East 15th St., North Vancouver, BC V7L 2L7.
