ELSIE ELIZABETH KONARSKI (nee KOHUT) March 2, 1933 - February 27, 2008 On Wednesday, February 27, at the age of 74, Elsie died peacefully in her sleep at Holy Family Nursing Home. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and husband of 54 years, Walter and her son Carl. She is also survived by her mother Florence Osachuk; her brother Walter (Nadia); her nephews, Glen and Rick; sister-in-law Anne Konarski, and her nieces, Barb and Deb. Elsie was born in Elma, MB, and grew up in Webster, ON. and was schooled in Winnipeg. In 1953 she married Walter, and lived in Winnipeg. They loved to travel, especially to Myrtle Beach, until her illness made it impossible to travel. Walter and Carl would like to give their sincere appreciation to all of her health care providers of St. Mary's ward over the many years she was a resident of Holy Family Nursing Home: Mary Lou, Helen, Veronica, Marie, Mila, Lolita, Irene, Linda, Anna, Galena, Maria, Alycia, Daroda, Sabrina, Kathy, Luba, Claire, Erlinda and Cindy. Thank you for your loving care, compassion and support. You all made her life more comfortable. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services at the request of the deceased.
