DIETMAR G. WORM April 2, 1934 February 29, 2008 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather. He passed peacefully with his wife Brigitte by his side, February 29, 2008 at the age of 73 years. He leaves behind his wife Brigitte, after 47 years of marriage; two sons, Frank (Diana), Ralph; two grandchildren, Christina and Ryan, and brother-in-law Horst (Gerda). Dietmar was born in Germany in 1934 and moved to Manitoba in 1953. He started into trucking in 1957 and worked hard with his wife to establish their own business, Worm Trucking Limited. He loved spending time with his family and raising his two sons, he was a #1 Dad. He was a good provider and the family lived a good life. He enjoyed all aspects of life. He and his wife loved travelling, especially in the RV and going for long walks. His main hobby was being in his garage creating and inventing anything and everything. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street, with Pastor Rod Giesbrecht officiating. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
