KATHARINA WIEBE (nee FEHR) Surrounded by the love of her family, Katharina passed peacefully and was called home on March 1, 2008. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Ben (Patti), Helen (Mike), Peter, Frank, Neil (Marleen), Tina (Ed), Jake (Andrea), Isaac (Cindy), Richard (Wanda); 28 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, extended family and her loving church family. She was predeceased by her husband Frank; daughter Anna; grandson Jeremy and daughter-in-law Jean. Mom was born near Morden, Manitoba on November 12, 1915, the daughter of Benjamin and Helena Fehr. She was one of 10 children. She spent her younger life on the farm, and then moved to Mexico with her family where she married and she and Dad started their family. They returned to Manitoba in 1953. Mom enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking and reading her Bible. Her faith in God, trust in Christ and the love of her family were most important to her. A favorite passage was Joshua 24:15, As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Thank you to the staff of the ER and 5A South, St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service celebrating Mom's life and faith will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Central Church of Christ, 217 Osborne Street S.
