Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH DUTTON On Sunday, March 2, 2008, Joseph, our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at the Luther Home at the age of 94 years. Remaining to forever cherish his memory are Marjory, daughter Pearl Serkes (Rudy), grandchildren Cindy Bale (Douglas), Robert, Terence, Randal (Kimberley), great-grandchildren Travis and Curtis Bale and Jessica Serkes. Also surviving is brother George Heggie (Irene). He was predeceased by his first wife Jean (nee Thurlow) and second wife Ethel (nee Proctor), brothers David, Robert and Hugh. Born May 10, 1913 in Glasgow, Scotland, Joe moved to Canada at an early age. He served with the RCAF in 1940. He was employed with Winnipeg Transit for over 30 years. Joe particularly enjoyed golfing with his many buddies at Kildonan Golf Course. In later years he lived at Carriage House North where he enjoyed many friendships, in particular his casino trips with Marjory. In compliance with Joe's wishes no formal service will be held.
