CHARLES (BUD) FEYEREISEN July 8, 1935 - March 1, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather after a brief illness. Predeceased by his infant son Bradley, he will be dearly missed by his wife of 51 years, Arlene (nee Gudmundson). Remaining to forever cherish his memory are his son Darren (Suzanne), daughter Lisa (Adam), his granddaughters Katherine and Ella. Some people called him Chuck or Charlie but most called him Bud because that is what he was to everyone. Born in 1935 in Pilgar, Saskatchewan he moved to Selkirk in his teens and found employment with Booth Fisheries. After his marriage he and his wife owned and operated the family store Ray's Grocery. He wore many hats, the town merchant, butcher, and fisherman. He was well known and liked by all. After his retirement and closure of the family business in 1982 he could be found around town searching for a deal and connecting with friends from the past. Summers included going to garage sales and then a drive for chips. He also spent countless hours lavishing love and attention on any animal especially his dogs. In compliance with Bud's wishes, no formal service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bud's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
