Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL PATRICIA (PATSY) ROBERTSON October 20, 1917 - March 3, 2008 Peacefully on March 3, 2008, at home with her loving husband of 68 years, Ernest, at her side. She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Jane McKee (David), Vicki Burns (John), Peter (Marianne), Ian (Lisa), ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, Judy Robertson, Bob Millman, Lorri Robertson and numerous nieces and nephews. Patsy was predeceased by her son James (Jimmy), daughter Jacqueline, sisters Phyllis and Doris and brother Bud. Patsy was born and raised in Toronto. She attended Bishop Strachan School, later receiving a BA from the University of Toronto. She very bravely took a ship to England, during the war to marry Ernie in 1940. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1957. After busy years raising her children she began a successful real estate career in 1967. Mom loved everything about the real estate business. We all have fond childhood memories of summers at Balsam Bay with Mom and Dad. Patsy spent many happy hours playing bridge with her friends. She loved socializing and often referred to herself as a people person. Mom and Dad had 22 wonderful winters at Maple Leaf Estates in Port Charlotte, Florida. We would like to extend special thanks to the many home care workers who provided Mom with loving and compassionate care over the past few years. It is due to their care that Mom was able to be at home during her final years. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church, 61 Picardy (one half block south of Portage Avenue). In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 680 Archibald St. 253-5086
