FLORENCE JEAN MONTGOMERY (nee VOLDEN) Very peacefully on March 2, 2008 Florence Jean Montgomery passed away. Mrs. Montgomery was born October 30, 1931 in Mossbank Saskatchewan, attended school in St. Agathe Manitoba and spent the majority of her life in Winnipeg. Mrs. Montgomery worked for the Province of Manitoba before her retirement in 1991. Mom leaves to mourn her sons Scott Alexander and Jeffrey Todd, daughter-in-law Janine, and grandchildren Tomas, Brigid and Brian Montgomery; as well as many precious cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Montgomery was predeceased by her mother Albina (2004), sister Mary (1995) and brother Donald in 1998. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday March 8, at 1:00 p.m. in the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald with family friend Rev. Fr. Ronald Lèger, presiding. Our family wishes to thank Dr. P.G. Mehta, who was with Mom for over 30 years, Dr. Lotocki, and the compassionate professionals at CancerCare Manitoba and on the 6th floor of St. Boniface Hospital.
