MATHIEW (JOHNNY) CALVO December 22, 1935 - March 3, 2008 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Peacefully Monday morning Mathiew Calvo finally lost his battle with cancer. Mathiew leaves his beloved wife of more that 40 years Judith Calvo, his daughter Debbie (Steve Yaworsky), and son Jeffrey, his grandchildren Noah and Anastasia, his brother Bert Calvo and his wife Melody, his sister in-law Patricia Calvo and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Pedro and Soledad Calvo and his brother Raymond Calvo. Mathiew enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing. He especially enjoyed going to St.Vital park to feed the birds. Mathiew is best known for his kind heart and warm smile. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. The family extends their heart filled gratitude to the staff at Victoria General Hospital. There care and support will not be forgotten. Cremation has taken place and a mass service will be held at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive, Winnipeg Manitoba on Friday March 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. a luncheon will follow.
