Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE ZAPOTOTSKY On March 2, 2008, Annie Zapototsky, (nee Wernichuke), dear wife of the late Steve and mother of Dennis, passed peacefully away at the age of 93 at Red River Place. Annie was born in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan on May 24, 1915, and lived in the Libau area until 1990 when for health reasons she became a resident of the Red River Place Nursing Home in Selkirk. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, brother Alex and sisters Pauline and Lena. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Dennis, sisters Doris and Helen, sister-in-law Minnie, special niece Marilyn and other members of her extended family. Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services at this time, but a private family interment in the Libau East Cemetery will take place at a later date. Annie's family greatly appreciates the capable and kind care she received from the staff at Red River. We are grateful to know that she was fully aware and comfortable right up to the last minutes of her life. She had enjoyed her dinner and had a last, loving phone conversation with her sister Helen, when she became very tired and slipped quietly away. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
