Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE R. EINARSON It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother at the Victoria Hospital on February 14, 2008. Bea was born on October 5, 1910 the second child of James Henry Ferguson and Rosamond Ferguson (Taylor). Bea was raised in Sarnia, Ontario and as young adult moved to Winnipeg where she soon found employment at the Hudson Bay. It was not long afterwards she found the love of her life, her future husband, Fisher Einarson whom she married in 1934. Bea and Fisher remained life long partners until his passing in 1991. Bea was a person who found joy in everything and everyone crossing her journey through life. During her early married years it was establishing a home and raising a family in Saint Vital that were her main concerns. While there she enjoyed her summers at Falcon Lake. As well she was active in the Riverside Lionelles and the Windsor Square Dance Club. After many years in Saint Vital Bea moved to River Heights where she began her affiliation with the First Lutheran church and became active in the I.O.D.E. Bea later moved to Windsor Park and started employment with Eatons. After retirement Bea and Fisher built a summer home at Sandy Hook and spent many happy times there. When her husband passed away Bea moved to Betelstadur Housing Co Operative where she became a member of the board and worked on arts and crafts. Bea is survived by her children, daughter Barbara, son Douglas (Sandy) and son Grant (Lu). She is further survived by six granddaughters, Stephanie, Pamela, Kirsten, Jennifer, Sarah and Jillian as well as one great-granddaughter, Anastasia. Special thanks to Pastor Michael, Ruth, Shirley, and Nettie for all the care and kindness throughout the years. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the First Lutheran Church, 580 Victor Street, Winnipeg, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. A reception is to follow. A private family interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
