Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREINHOLD (REME) AMMETER March 21, 1923 - March 3, 2008 Reme Ammeter passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Jesus. Reme was born in Russia to Alfred and Clara Ammeter. Coming to Canada Reme moved to Starbuck, MB to the farming home known as the big house . Here he ran a successful dairy until his retirement. Retirement years were spent with his favourite pastime of gardening. Having such a huge garden he shared with family and friends; his favourite being watermelons. Reme loved sports especially baseball, hockey and curling. He also served in the Armed Forces for our country. Reme will be lovingly remembered by his children Barb (Tony) Brelis, Bob and friend Angela, sister Louise of Headingley, MB, Verna (Joe) Legg of Calgary, AB, Virginia Edstrom of Asquiths, SK, Vic (Noreen) Demoskoff of Starbuck, MB, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and grandchildren. Reme was predeceased by his loving wife Anne, parents, and sisters Elsie and Senta. The family would like to thank Oakview Extended Care as well as the staff at the Grace Hospital. By request a private family service will follow. If so desired donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
