EVA GROUCH Eva passed away peacefully March 6, 2008 at the Riverview Hospital Care Facility. Eva was born January 14, 1928 to proud parents Maria and Mike Zuk into a very big family of six other sisters and seven brothers. Eva began her early years teaching school in Hodgsonville, Manitoba and later pursued a nursing career at Health Sciences Centre, which began in 1959 and ended with her early retirement at the age of 60. Eva kept herself active caretaking an apartment block until her decision to settle down in her new residence at Riverside Lions Estate. Eva continued her active lifestyle playing Bingo, Scrabble and Casino trips with her friends. Eva was predeceased by numerous sisters and brothers. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Donna, her son Zenny, son-in-law Ron, granddaughter Marissa, husband Ralph, and four sisters and two brothers. Special thanks to Dr. Salem, Hilary Salem and the staff at Riverview Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation in memory of Eva.
