DOROTHY ROSEMARY GREGORY March 13, 1922 - March 4, 2008 It comes with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Gregory. She was predeceased by her father Edward and her mother Elizabeth Gregory of Selkirk, MB. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her brother Ed (Shirley), her nephew Eddie (Linda) and her grand-nephew Edward (Sandy), as well as all of her many other close friends and relatives. Dorothy grew up in Selkirk, Manitoba until moving to Winnipeg in 1947. She enjoyed a lengthy career at Burns Meats where she was an invaluable employee until her retirement in 1985. Aunt Do loved to travel! She visited a number of countries around the world and, on occasion, she enjoyed the odd bus trip to a casino with her best friend, Audrey. Dorothy always carried herself with class, grace and dignity. A great friend and confidant with a warm, caring disposition is how she will always be lovingly remembered. Services will be held on Monday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline Street, Selkirk, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
