Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE KAUFMAN (nee BECKER) Katherine Kaufman passed away peacefully at Golden West Centennial Lodge, on Friday, March 7, 2008. Kay was born February 21, 1917 in Winnipeg. Left to mourn are her daughter-in-law Gladys, grandchildren Cheryl and Andrew. She will also be missed by her sister Molly Schultz and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Phillip in 1976 and son Robert (Bob) in 2001. Katherine is also predeceased by her brothers, David and Charlie as well as her sisters, Annie and Marie. Katherine worked at various private and government jobs, the last one being for the Manitoba Department of Natural Resources. She retired from the Province on February 28, 1982. Kay enjoyed music, singing hymns, doing crafts, baking and observing wildlife. The family would like to thank all the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge on the 2nd and 4th floors who have cared with professionalism and kindness for Kay (KK) over the last 13 years.
