EARL CLINE On January 7, 2008, Earl Cline of Wetaskiwin, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years after a valiant struggle with cancer. Earl spent his young life in Manitoba and fought overseas in The Second World War. Upon returning he married Clara May Yeo in 1945 and they had their family in Winnipeg. They moved to Calgary in 1966 then to Langley in 1976 where he remained until Clara, passed away in 1986. Earl spent the last 10 years enjoying country life in Wetaskiwin. He passed his days sitting on the deck watching the animals and farm activities. Earl is lovingly remembered by his three children, John (Barbara) of Wetaskiwin, Maureen (Ed) of Langley, B.C., and Valerie of West Vancouver, B.C. He is also missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his siblings Mae (Ernie), Anne (John) and Neil (Joan). Earl was predeceased by his sisters Phyllis (Herman) and Dora (Al) and brother Boyd (Agnes). He will be laid to rest with Clara at Langley Lawn Cemetery. A celebration of Earl's life will be held at the Johnston home in Langley on March 19, 2008. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation (Palliative Care Room) or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
